Design and implementation of new brand identity for inflight catering contractor in the Madives

The Client:

Maldives Inflight Catering (MIC), is a joint venture between Maldives Airports Company Limited and SATS Ltd. MIC are the leading inflight caterer in Maldives. Based at Velana International Airport, they provide airlines and private jet catering to their clients.

MIC has more than 27 years of experience serving customers and we want to continue growing with customers and partners by creating value for both parties.

The Challenge

Their mission is “To be the first-choice provider of food solutions in Maldives by offering innovative solutions with consistent top quality services to our customers.”

The challenge was to create a new brand image for MIC which echoed the expansion and confidence of the business. A brand that would be seein on Uniforms, product labels, signage, vehicles and website.

The Solution

The new brand features piping hot steam displayed in a red colour to sit well with colour scheme of SATS – Singapore Airport Terminal Services who are a partner in the business.

The Results

  • A new, user-friendly website that saw 88% of its traffic come from new users, within 2 months 
  • New Brand image and corporate guidelines document
  • New vehicle livery and uniform designs.
  • New product packaging designs reflecting the brand identity
