The Challenge

Developing a brand identity for G13+ that effectively communicates its mission to combat climate change while resonating with its vision and values. Initially named Goal 13+ and renamed to G13+ to strengthen its environmental message and avoid associations with the sports sector. The challenge was to craft a visual and verbal identity that reflects the urgency of climate action, aligns with the organisation’s goals, and ensures clarity and impact in a crowded sustainability space.

The Solution

G13+ refers to the 13th goal of the UN Global Sustainability Goals (GSGs) – “Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts”. Reflecting the company’s primary purpose in helping companies to reduce their carbon footprint, work towards carbon neutrality. The “+” element in the name refers to all the other UN SDGs that are supported by the offsetting.

The Result

The successful development of G13+’s branding included a distinctive logo, print collateral, and business cards that clearly reflected the company’s commitment to combating climate change. The new identity also reinforced G13+’s mission, ensuring a strong visual presence that resonated with stakeholders in the sustainability sector. The branding elements provided a cohesive and professional image, effectively positioning G13+ as a leader in climate action initiatives.
