New identity and website design for Polly Boyd Editing

The Client

After 30 years in the publishing industry, Polly mainly works for publishers of non-fiction books such as BBC and ITV Publishing, DK, Hodder & Staunton and other respected publishing houses. However, her editorial skills and experience are transferable to any business sector and apply to digital media as well as print.

The Challenge

Although widely experienced and well connected Polly had always operated without a brand or website. The identity needed to be targeted at the markets that her editing business wished to work, as well as having the flexibility to move into new areas of editing work.

The Solution

Create a strong brand based around the editors name the branding to reflect the modern and pragmatic ethos. Opting for a new teal colour palette, we provided a visually striking and memorable brand 

Alongside redesigning Polly Boyd brand identity, we created a portfolio website to display Polly Boyd’s wide sector experience in an easy to browse site ordered around publishing themes.

The Results

  • A new, user-friendly website that saw 100% of its traffic come from new users.
  • A successful rebranding – including a new logo and social media banners
